It’s that time of year again! Thanksgiving has come and gone, and the kids and I are taking a break from our usual school routine. I like to take this time to reset and plan, and it has been wonderful. Today the kids wanted to get out the Christmas decorations, so that’s what we did. Here’s my view right now:

I forgot how much I love sitting by the light of the Christmas tree in the evening with a warm fire going. It’s so cozy and perfect, and I feel so grateful for my home and my family.

Printable Christmas Coloring Pages

Another thing the kids and I did today was print out the Christmas Coloring Pages I made a couple of years ago. I keep meaning to update them and add new pages, but life is busy and my creative endeavors are slow.

I love drawing, and I love the way my kids light up when they see a new page I’ve made for them. It’s like a collaboration. I think coloring helps them build confidence and control of those little hands for when they create their own amazing works of art. Mason colors inside the lines now, so that’s fun too.
