2025 has been an exciting year so far.

First off, I finished illustrating my cousin’s book last night! Now she will take it and pitch it to publishers. I’m so grateful that she reached out to me and asked me to work with her on this project. I didn’t think I’d ever have an opportunity to illustrate a children’s book! I’ll share a link if it ends up getting published.

I’m glad I’m done with the illustrations because I’m officially a student again and I start classes tomorrow. I’ll be studying software development through BYU-Pathway Worldwide. Another cool opportunity that I’m grateful for! It’s only been, oh, about 10 years since I was in school… I’m nervous, but also excited. Things are about to get very busy, but I trust that God will help us through it.

I don’t want to share any illustrations from the book until everything is in order, so here’s Ryan and I on a recent hike.
