I’m super tired, so sorry if this post is all over the place. I just wanted to sit down, reflect, and share some pictures 🙂
We’ve managed to do school EVERY DAY this week! I know it’s only Tuesday, but I still feel like it’s a big win – mostly because I had the energy for it. It feels like the fog is starting to clear. I hope it continues!
The past few weeks I’ve been in a bit of a fog. My anxiety and depression have awakened from their slumber, but I’m trying to put them back to sleep. Having a baby always wreaks havoc on a woman emotionally and hormonally, but when you’re already trying to keep emotional disorders at bay it’s a tad more frustrating when it all gets thrown out of whack. Good thing that baby is so dang cute…
We made a goal for 2019 that we wouldn’t watch any tv or play any video games until after 3pm on school days. I thought it would be a pretty difficult transition since we had been binging on the tv because we were sick and it was Christmas time, but it’s had an awesome unanticipated side affect – the boys are so bored that they beg me to do school! And there is no rushing through it because they can’t turn on the tv until 3 anyway. It has worked out so much better than I could have imagined.
