So We Can Be Somebody’s Miracle

This week as I read the New Testament (John chapters 7-10), these verses really hit me hard:

And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.

And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?

Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him.

#BecauseOfHim (Easter 2019)

This year for Easter we had Ryan’s sister Melissa and her family over for some Easter egg dying and hunting. But before we get to that, can we talk about how cute Mason is!? He is 6 months old and rolls from front to back and back to front. He has platinum blonde hair that is beginning to curl, and still has those big baby blue eyes. And his first tooth popped through this week! He is the cutest most happy little guy and he has us all wrapped around his cute little finger.

Trusting the Lord and Turning 29

My mental health has been really good for the past couple of years, with only minor bouts of anxiety and depression here and there, but it took quite a dip these past few weeks. I have a lot on my plate with homeschool, new baby, trying to keep the house reasonably clean, and Ryan’s two jobs and crazy work schedule. I have to be careful how much I add to that, and to prioritize those things that are most important. The talks Good, Better, Best by Dallin H. Oaks and A Home Where the Spirit of the Lord Dwells by Henry B. Eyring hit close to my heart.

Daily Life

I’ve been busy with some new things lately and haven’t been writing much on my blog, but I’ve really missed it. This past weekend was General Conference, and I always love the guidance and peace I feel from hearing the words of the prophet and apostles of the Lord.
