Retirement and House Updates

I’ve been using this blog (or some variation of this blog) to document our little family’s history for almost 8 years now. I love documenting our family life, and precious moments we have together! Now that I know I’m commited to homeschooling, that takes up a lot of our day and I keep finding that it’s all I want to write about. I love it so, so much, and I want to document the years we have learing together before my boys are all grown up and go off to college! This blog has been a wonderful family journal and creative outlet, but I think it’s time to retire. Ok, I don’t know if I’ll retire it fully, but I think I’ll be posting here less frequently. I’ve created a new blog that focuses mostly on our homeschool journey. It sounds strange, but homeschooling has become my passion and I want to document it more! But I want it to have it’s own space. My homeschool blog is called All things Beautiful & Bright, and my companion instagram account is @beautifulandbrightschool if you’re interested in following along with us on our schooling journey πŸ™‚

Now for the house updates! I’ve collected some pictures from back when we cleared our land, all the way to where we’re at now. I thought it would be fun to show them all in order!

We were just starting to dig our foundation in this panorama

All that’s left out here is the stone work, a step for the porch, and planting some grass!

Here’s where we’re at on the inside: Getting those floors in!

It’s amazing to see how far we’ve come in a year. Hopefully we can get moved in before this baby comes. Wish us luck!
