Alma 34:38 Rose Free Printables

It’s almost November, and Alma 34:38 is the perfect scripture to use to make printables for the Thanksgiving season! This printable took about a year to put together. Longer, if you include the time frame of when I took my reference photos. Last year I wanted to work on improving my detail drawing skills with colored pencils, so I looked for little things with lots of detail that I could study. I ended up with two photos: One I took of a rose my husband bought for me years ago, and one of a little lady bug I found.

I know these printables aren’t really fall colors, but i plan on using this scripture to make more images, so be on the lookout for that 😊

Once I had my reference photos, I grabbed my paper and pencils and drew as many details as I could see. I filled in all the colors I could see as well. It was a long process, but I learned a lot and I’m very happy with how the drawings turned out. I’m even happier with how this printable turned out! Back when I first created them, I never thought I would be digitally combining these drawings. They work so well together, and the scripture is a nice touch too, don’t you think?
